…Don’t let it
Yes, our trips are sober travel experiences, but that’s just the entry point. What matters more is what happens after the distractions are stripped away. You get a chance to travel sober, connect deeper, and remember what it feels like to actually be present, with the people you're with and the place you're in.
In regular life, we default to the blur. A glowing screen. A couple of drinks. Another lost weekend.
Capsule Adventures offers sober vacations designed to feel like a reset. Not a sober trip to prove something. A sober experience to feel everything.
Post-Trip Feels
who are capsule adventures for?
People who want their first sober trip to feel like the beginning of something life-changing
Those who didn’t quit drinking to live smaller lives.
Travelers who’ve outgrown the party-hostel scene, but still crave connection and adrenaline.
Sober or sober curious people who are sick of explaining why they’re not drinking.
And for those of you quietly googling sober adventure travel with one tab open and one foot out the door.
Hi, I’m Ryan
Founder | Trip Leader | 4 Years Sober
It was meant to be the dream trip: a 14-day safari through Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe. Instead, someone on the trip relapsed. He stole alcohol, got lost, injured himself, and dragged the rest of us through the wreckage. I stayed sober, but the atmosphere didn’t feel safe.
A few months later, I signed up for an eight-day hike through the Svaneti region of Georgia. The same pattern emerged: heavy drinking, fractured group dynamics, a near assault, and a dismissed guide. The trip completely derailed.
Somewhere on that trail, exhausted and fed up, I realised I was done compromising. I didn’t want a sanitised retreat or spiritual bypassing. I wanted sober adventure travel that was authentic.
That’s how Capsule Adventures started: built for people like you and me who seek clarity, presence, and connection in the kinds of places most people only dream about.
