Itinerary
-
Arrive in Cape Town and settle into your fabulous apartment at the Murex. In the evening, we head out for a short sunset hike to one of my favorite viewpoints, followed by a group dinner at Mojo Market with live music and plenty of food options.
-
A relaxed start with a driving tour around Cape Town’s beaches, Chapman’s Peak, and iconic viewpoints. Here you’ll get a chance to enjoy Cape Town’s fantastic cafe cuisine. In the evening, the culture trip continues as we gather for an outdoor summer concert at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, framed by Table Mountain at sunset.
-
A trip to Cape Town would never be complete without an early hike up Table Mountain with sweeping views across the city. I promise the vista will take your breathe away.
To make the most of the day, we take the cable car down and return for a traditional South African rooftop braai (barbecue) hosted at The Murex.
-
Today we take a full day trip to Boulders Beach to see the African penguins. After lunch at a local farm-to-table café, we visit the most southern point of the continent - Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope for a coastal hike.
-
This is the day no one forgets!. An early start lets us spend a Full-day on safari at Aquila Game Reserve, about two hours outside Cape Town. We will go on morning and afternoon game drives to maximize our chance to spot the Big Five.
Meals onsite are provided before returning in the evening.
-
Explore a lesser-known section of Table Mountain with its dramatic rock formations, tunnels, and photo spots.
We head into town for lunch, but for those who want more of Cape Town’s scenery, an optional second sunset hike in the evening is on the cards!
-
Choose your own adventure!
You can take an e-bike ride to Chapman’s Peak, see a rugby match, or enjoy some free time to explore Cape Town at your own pace.In the evening, we share a final group dinner at Reverie, a community dining experience with multi-course meals and mocktail pairings.
-
We close the week with a sunrise hike up Lion’s Head, the iconic peak that sits between Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean.
The trail winds around the mountain with gradual climbs and short scrambles near the top, rewarding you with 360-degree views of Cape Town, the ocean, and Table Mountain glowing in the morning light.
After taking it all in, we head back down for breakfast together before saying our goodbyes.
