FAQs
-
Do I have to be sober to join a trip?
Nope. You don’t need to be sober, but you do need to be cool with a trip that is. No alcohol, no drugs — not even a sneaky edible.
This space is designed for connection, presence, and clarity. If you're sober, sober-curious, or just want to take a break from the usual, you're in the right place.

What kinds of people go on these trips?
People who are tired of surface-level experiences. Folks who crave connection, adventure, and meaning without the hangover. Think: solo travelers, creatives, ex-party animals, wellness-minded explorers, burnt-out professionals, and people with stories. If you’ve ever said, “I want more out of life,” you’re the type.
-
What’s the fitness level required?
These are active trips. Think hiking, a few long days, maybe some scrambling, and definitely getting your boots dirty. You don’t need to be an athlete, but if you get winded walking up stairs… maybe hit a few hikes before you book.
We will be happy to provide you with a training program. If you have any questions about your readiness for the trip, please do not hesitate to reach out.
-
What's included in the trip cost?
Everything once you land: accommodations, most meals, ground transport, guides, and activities. What’s not included: your flight, travel insurance, souvenirs, and that latte you swore you weren’t addicted to.
-
Who are the trip leaders and how structured are the trips?
Each adventure is led by a trip leader who oversees all logistics and is available to answer any questions or concerns. The trip manager will be with the group for the duration of the adventure and has designed a mix of structured and unstructured activities.
While the trips are structured to maximize adventure and presence, you’ll still get solo moments to read, journal, nap, or just stare into a mountain range like you're in a Patagonia ad. -
What is the application process?
First, go ahead and fill out an application!
After this, we’ll reach out to schedule a 30-minute video interview. This allows us to learn more about you and gives you time to ask any questions you still have.
If you’re accepted for the trip, your first 25% deposit will be due within 3 days of acceptance and the balance will be due 90 days before the trip. If you apply and are accepted less than 60 days before the start date of the trip, then the full balance is due.
-
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, we highly recommend getting travel insurance. Once you’re registered for a trip, we can recommend a few vendors that offer easily accessible, affordable plans.
